Where exactly is Helga’s Paradise located?
Our hotel is located in Lupini, 85103 Afandou on Rhodes—idyllically situated between Faliraki and Kolymbia, with a direct view of the sea. The sandy beach of Afandou is just a few minutes away.
How do I get from Rhodes Airport to Helga’s Paradise?
By rental car, the drive from Rhodes Airport (Diagoras) takes about 25–30 minutes (approx. 23.5 km). Alternatively, you can take the bus: First, take the DES RODA bus from the airport to Rhodes Town (about 40 min.), then transfer to a KTEL Rodou bus heading toward Faliraki/Afantou/Lindos (about 35 min.). From the bus stop in Afandou, it’s about 1.5–2 km to the hotel—if you have luggage, it’s worth taking a short taxi ride.
What room categories do you offer?
We have twin rooms with a balcony and pool view (up to 2 people), family rooms with a garden or balcony view (up to 4 people), and triple rooms with a balcony or terrace and garden view (up to 3 guests). All rooms are non-smoking and feature a private bathroom, a refrigerator, and a terrace or balcony.
What is included in the rooms?
Each room features a private bathroom with a shower (hair dryer available upon request), a small refrigerator with a freezer compartment, fly screens, and a terrace or balcony. Air conditioning is available as an optional extra for an additional fee. Breakfast is included in the room rate.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in our lobby area.
Is there a pool?
Yes, our refreshing swimming pool is perfect for cooling off after a sunny day or for a few laps in the morning. Some rooms offer a direct view of the pool area.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available daily from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM; check-out is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Is Helga’s Paradise family-friendly?
Yes, absolutely—family-friendliness is especially important to us. We offer spacious family rooms for up to 4 people. For children, an extra bed is available at half price per night; children under 2 years of age receive a crib free of charge. The number of extra beds per room is limited (max. 1 for double and triple rooms).
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available right in front of the hotel for guests arriving by car.
Are there pets or cats at the hotel?
Cats occasionally stay at our hotel—we lovingly care for stray and homeless cats in the area. Please keep this in mind when planning your stay.
How much is the “Climate Crisis Resilience Tax,” and do I have to pay it?
Starting with the 2024 season, Greece has implemented a mandatory Climate Crisis Resilience Tax. You pay this directly on-site at our front desk—it is calculated per night and per room, not per person. We’d be happy to provide more details if needed.
